grow my nails

You know, I keep a fingernail file and Avon nail strengthener at every desk and in my purse, so no matter where I am I can work on this. My thumbnailes are a decent length, and usually my other nails are usually not down to the nub like they used to be. Guess that’s as much as I can hope for.

Ok, I have hit a snag. My hubby hates the smell of nail products, so I keep them at work where I’m more likely to use them anyway. Now it turns out my coworkers aren’t too pleased either. My boss also came in and asked what that “chemical smell” was. So what I’m doing now is just “refreshing” a couple nails a day, as they need it. This means keeping the same color on all the time, but that’s ok with me. I have graduated from clear to a pink pearl (hides the flaws better, but harder to apply), but I’m not one to change my nails to match my wardrobe anyway.

After I made a resolution about taking care of my hands & nails, I brought some neutral polish, polish remover, and a nail file to work. When my computer is being slow I now grab my file and take care of splits before I lose half a nail.

I may actually prove that even computer nerds can have nice nails!
