I ran out of deodorant last week and vowed it would be the last one. I’ve found a few good recipes to make my own, but I don’t have access to some of the ingredients. Homemade deodorant is apparently mostly baking soda and cornstarch, which I do have. However, admiring my Burt’s Bees talc-free baby powder I noticed that the first two ingredients were—yep, you guessed it, baking soda and cornstarch! On top of that, I’ve always thought it smelled amazing. So I’m using that in place of deodorant and it seems to work alright. It’s not actually homemade, but it’s Burt’s Bees, which is amazing.
When I do have some extra money to make my own I want to make it super coconuty.
