I went to the first meeting of Ethnic Literature last week. We only meet in person four times throughout the semester. I was also finally regitered in ENGL 201, which is just a one unit class that’s completely online. Now I just have to get financial aid figured out and I’ll be rolling!

I’m taking two classes, six units, this quarter. I’m still waiting for everything to get finalized. New programs make it difficult to get signed up for everything.
It won’t be long and I’ll be signing up for my first class or two. I’m a bit nervous. I’m also realizing how difficult my life will be financially in order to accomplish getting my BA, paying off debt, and saving up money to move to the east coast. Four years seems like a long time, but the next four years are going to fly by, and then I’ll find myself with a degree moving across country by the time I’m 30.
so I can get a job that’s less stressful and go backk to school full time. I don’t want to work my way up any further at my current job, and it doesn’t pay enough to plan on staying there forever, plus it’s not what I want to do forever. Just the thought of making school my primary focus again is exciting!
...and I just found out the application deadline, so it’s underway. Now, I just have to gather the materials and the money, and I’ll finally be heading towards the second half of my degree!
..through CSUB at COC! Anyhow, the community college right by me will begin offering the BA that I want through a university extension in about a year. That gives me time to get psyched up and get things in line!
It looks like the university center at my local community college offers a B.A. in English now, although I’m not sure through who. They have an open house on Monday, so I’m going to go get some information. Hopefully, I’ll be working towards my B.A. within a year.
I submitted my final paper and took the final online. All I have left is the final for my American Lit class, then I’ll have my associates in English Literature.
Now I have one Brit lit and one American lit class to get my associates. Then I’ll have to transfer.
After five years of community college, not knowing what I want to do. I’ve decided on English, specifically literature. I went through computer graphics, liberal arts, mathematics and engineering, but they all felt tedious. There was always an aspect that I loathed, most recently higher level chemistry. I love reading and have recently developed a fervor for reading that I have never had before, so I finally decided on english. Now I have three english classes left to get my associates degree and transfer.
