We took Bella to a blessing of the animals at a friend’s church, and I spoke with someone who takes dogs to nursing homes and hospitals. She said other than the jumping, Bella has the perfect disposition for this kind of work.
She’s going to hold a disposition test after the first of the year. She also gave me a couple tips on working with the jumping (continual “sit” commands). Lots of work for a couple of months, but Bella likes learning. I think introducing her to more new people and situations will help too.
Definitely doable.
