I have a new book I am trying recipes from..It’s something like the Cleanse cook book. Plenty of smoothie and soup recipes…I think I may try something this week.

I am trying my best to experiemnt, but the baby having a cold is limiting my trips to the farmer’s market, etc. Hopefully next week things will be better.
OHHHHHHHH! I almost forgot! Anyone in the Temecula area has to visit The Temecula Valley Cheese Company in Old Town Temecula!!I am in love with their Stilton w/Cranberries!!! The Tete De Moine is delicious! It can be pricey, but they offer a $10 bag of mixed cheeses that we enjoyed. We went looking for Montgomery Cheddar which we had tried in Edinburgh. We found it and have since had it on everything!!!
Wow! I love acorn squash! I split it in half and prepared each half differently. I mixed chopped apples, cranberries, brown sugar & butter and stuffed one half. The other I diced and added it to chicken, potatoes, carrots & onions I baked in the oven in a bath of orange juice. Everything was great and I received lots of kisses all around!
I made spaghetti squash last week, it was delicious. I made whole wheat pizza this week and again vey delicious. I also tried Oyster mushrooms in some tacos to replace the meat. They came out really good, especially with the jalapenos I added!
I hate trying new recipes for one reason. The shopping. If I have everything in my pantry or fridge I’m golden. If, however, I need to buy most of the ingredients it really pisses me off. Especially, if I know I won’t use it for any other recipes. I am going to try a new recipe book. My first selection is spaghetti with zucchini and lemon. I have all the ingredients except for the cheese. I’ll have to pick up some of this Pecorino cheese. I don’t have a problem with this because I love cheese in all forms. I hope everyone enjoys it.
