Make the tradition of spending my birthdays in Amsterdam

As much as I love Amsterdam and being there, surrounded by cute houses and beautiful canals, it’s not so fun when you don’t have company to spend time with. Yesterday I managed to have a wonderful birthday here in Toulouse – a place I rather loathe – but I had my friends around and it was fun. I’m not saying that I discovered that good company makes anything better, I only discovered that some people around me are ready to be there for me and they appreciate me more than I allowed myself to believe.

Well, as much as I love going to Amsterdam, this year I’m not having holidays any near my birthday. And even though my birthday is on a Saturday, a round trip from Toulouse costs me at least 210€.. not really sure I’d pay that for a weekend this year, especially since I’ll have to spend the nights in a hostel with strangers. But I’d love to keep this tradition-in-becoming. Hmm, what a dilemma! :/
