The big, ugly process of applications and waiting to hear back is over, and I’ve accepted an offer from a school and plunked down a deposit. Starting grad school full time in August!

In the thick of... 12 months ago

...applications! If I actually spent all the time I’ve said I was working on applications, you know, working on applications, I’m sure I’d be done. But that’s a whole other stack of issues to tackle. ;) I’ve visited a few of the programs, and I’m more and more committed each time I visit or talk with people about it: I can’t wait to start a program in urban planning!

Aha! 17 months ago

I had my aha! moment finally – the moment when all the pieces of my career interests, my personal interests, my likes and dislikes, and my skills, abilities, and interest in gaining certain new skills and abilities have aligned. This time next year, I’ll be about two months away from starting graduate school!
