2. Not being seriously injured when doing a faceplant into the sidewalk. Really quite lucky that I didn’t break my nose, or worse
3. My mother having a safe flight back to michigan

1. Space enough in my house to make art in, without needing a separate studio, or being constantly fearful of other interruptions to a “work in progress”
2. Gorgeous fall weather. Perfect temperature for sitting next to the open window while wearing long sleeves. The trees being most brilliant colors
3. Knowing what I want to do on the next set of paintings (at least some creative project in my life is going right at the moment!)
4. Still riding high from good boat book news last week
5. A calendar full of plans for now until I leave new york
