read all the books I own

This has been the busiest semester of my life. I haven’t had time to read outside of schoolwork. I had at least 10 books/textbooks to read for classes, plus research to do for 5 projects!!! Needless to say I have neglected all of my poor fiction books.

I miss reading sooo much. As soon as this semester is over I’m going to read for at least an hour a day! I love fiction and can’t believe I’ve been away from it for so long.

So my downfall was when I got a library card for an entire system of libraries where every single book I could ever want to read, and then some, are right there at my fingertips.

But when I’m back at school in a week I will have to start reading my own books again so I’m keeping with my goal.

This goal is on the back burner until I finish reading the Bible. I’m spending all my reading time on the Bible until it’s done. As soon as I’ve read the whole Bible, I will read it over again but go back to spending a lot of reading time on the other books I own. That way I will have read the whole Bible, but after that I can still make time to reread the Bible AND read my other books. Gosh does that confuse anyone else or is it just me?! But soon enough I’ll be back to reading all the millions of books I own

Finished Christ the Lord by Anne Rice. Starting the historical non-fiction Founding Mothers by Cokie Roberts. It’s a great book telling the untold (or very seldom told) story about the wives of the founding fathers, and other women from the beginnings of America!

I’m reading Christ the Lord by Anne Rice. Wonderful book. As soon as I’m done with that, I’m not sure, I’ll just have to choose any book I haven’t read yet!

Although I must admit, in spite of visiting the amazing six-story library, I’ve still made progress and read two and a half books that I actually own… haha

man, I’m doing awful at this. Yesterday I visited a six-story library, got a new library card, and walked out with 5 books and 10 movies. Yeah… so I guess I will read all those first, and then get back to my own books… shouldn’t take more than two weeks to get back on track then.

Halfway through Pride and Prejudice. Then reading I Am Legend. Then I have a few non-fiction/historical fiction books to read… oh boy.

I need to finish reading the ones I already own before I move on to other books. It’ll make things easier because after this goal is complete, I will know that all the books I have, I’ve already read at least once, and then I can start any new book I get right away.
