I’ve now read 10 books and it only took me 5 months to complete. The speed of getting this complete was probably helped by the fact that I am currently unemployed and have plenty of time in between job searches to read a few books.
I’m going to complete this goal and then create another one to read 25 books in 2012. I’ll be including the 10 that I’ve already read this year.
Alices’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass – Lewis Carol
I’ve now read 9 books and completing this quite quickly. I’m going to leave this goal as it is and once I complete it I shall post another similar goal.
Goblins – Charles Grant.
Good book if you like The X-Files
The total number of books I have read is now at 8.
Birdsong – Sebastian Faulks.
Its a good read, with insights into WW1. Sometimes a bit gruesome in places but this shouldn’t deter you from reading it as there is a lovely romantic story that is also told.
I’ve now read 7 books. Only 3 more to go before I can cross this off.
Winter Ghosts – Kate Mosse
It’s a bloody good read. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
I’ve now read book number 6. I’m well on target to complete this before the year is out. Maybe I should’ve set the number a bit higher. But as I’ve said before, once I get a job I expect the number of books I read a month to drop a lot.
Now to decide what the next book to read will be.
Lord of the Flies – lots of meanings in this book.
The number of books I’ve read this year is now 5.
Spirit Gate – Kate Elliot
Have now read book number 4 and still only in March. At this rate will complete this to-do quite quickly.
Bridget Jones’s Diary – very funny
The total number of books I have read this year is now 3. It’s looking like I’ll be reading 1 book a month at this rate, tho I expect that to change when I get a job.
Mrs Fry’s Diary – such a funny book I managed to read it on 1 day.
... I’ve read:
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
I’m not including:
Great Expectations as I started it last year
Agile Testing as this is related to my line of work
