Learn Perl

OK, so I get it that PHP is the new hot language on the web these days. But count me in with the old school.

I totally dig the PERL, man. this crap about PHP is totally overhyped. I can’t believe how many people have bought into it. Look, man, PERL isn’t about to be co-opted by your OO bullshit. Perl coders know the value of JOB SECURITY, and are more than ready to link ourselves to something bigger than a funky slick new now sound of the latest acronym that’s been marketed out to the programmed masses.

I hear that perl 6 is going to be so different that everything will change. So I guess I’d better stop learning perl 5, and jump over to portuguese for a while
