learn how to graffiti

I consider myself having learned graffiti because I did my first 3 color peice last saturday. It felt great. Call me SWAY

i decided to learn from this site and its been about two weeks and im pretty good on paper and have been practicing with the cans.
heres what ive found out:
-your parents will not like it if you practice on your fence. use a fat peice of cardboard from like a dumpster or something
-other artists bring cardstock to make straight lines, its not al freehand
-if you go to the post office, you can grab some of those fed ex stickers and draw a mini version of your tag and poof. instant sticker you can place anywhere.
-scour the internet (www.bombingscience.com, www.artcrimes.com) for pics of other peices(colorful tag) and find your own style.
i recently discovered that the arrows thing isnt for me but loopy blocks with shadows and paint drips are deffinently what i like.
-when i copy a tag or peice from a picture, i first copy (not trace!) the original tag, then use the same font and style with my own ‘graff name’ or whatever.
-if and when you tag, DO NOT take a picture of you making it or even standing next to it and ESPECIALLY dont put it on myspace or whatever. the police will follow leads throw myspace and if they see you in the pic they can search your house and if they find spray cans your done for.
