Make my own Christmas gifts

Once I started this great idea of making everyones christmas pressies, i thought wow thats nice cause I’m giving up my time and really thinking about what they want. But blow me! It all takes so long. So far I’ve made 3 pieces of pottery (3 more being glazed) and 3 bars of soap….not exactly on target. Maybe next year I’ll be more organised. And I haven’t even started making cards yet. Ok still a few weeks left!!

Well this ties in with some of my other 43 things, I’ve started pottery so I’m hoping a few pots would be nice for parents etc, and now I’m starting to make soap, after all surely a homemade soap is better than a pack from Boots that has no care taken over it. I hope people appreciate its not the cheap option and it take time and care to think what to make people, scrap books take forever, a pot takes me 5 weeks (only a couple of hours a week mind!). Anyone got any ideas for other gifts I can make?
