I’ve been playing guitar for years, and had a sitar a while back, but it wasn’t much good/couldn’t keep tune. Now I finally have a decent sitar from Rikhi Ram’s place in Delhi. It’s where George Harrison bought his. I can now play Norwegian Wood, no hassles, and also the riff from ‘She Sell’s Santuary’ by The Cult. Not exactly classical ragas, but a start. I want to play Anada Shankar type stuff, kind of wig out psychadelia. Anyway, here’s a link to Rikhi Ram’s, top store & nice guys for anyone who is after a good quality sitar.
