Invite 43'ers to make a list of 43 Chocolate Sites for Worldwide Chocolate Tour

I am going to mark this as completed but this is a lifelong goal—I will always be on the lookout for good chocolate! Thanks for including me on this goal and for the invitation, Kikigracie!

We left NYC late so we arrived in Hershey at midnight. We pulled up to the Hershey Hotel only to find out they don’t take dogs. The girl at the registration desk gave me a piece of paper with a list of all the other hotels in Hershey and sent me on my way. When I got back to the car the valet asked me if he could take our bags and I explained we were having to go to another hotel because of our dogs. He recommended a couple of them and asked if the girl gave us some chocolate. Gave us some chocolate, I asked?? not really understanding the question. He came back with full size bags of kisses and boxes of pots of gold…it was AMAZING. Free chocolate? How is that possible? Everyone in the whole town was SO nice and it is undoubtedly one of the prettiest small towns I have ever been. The whole area is gorgeous and Hershey is a lovely place to visit!!!

The Manon Chocolate Factory in Belguim is definately worth a visit! Manon Chocolates are heavenly. I worked on the 7th floor at Bergdorfs in specialty food one holiday season when I first moved to NY. They sold Manon chocolates. Everyone told me I would be sick of chocolate in no time since I had to work with it—OH how they were wrong. I loved Manon chocolate more when I left than when I got there and on an almost exclusively chocolate diet during the holidays I lost about 6 lbs!!!

Michel Cluizel chocolate is reputed to be some of the finest in the world and luckily we have a place to enjoy it in NYC. Micheal Cluizel at ABC Carpet & Home makes you feel like you are in Paris. It is a magical little spot!!! They have the best Choctails-did I mention they are open at night??-a Chocolate Bar! It is beautiful and full of charm! If you live in NY or are planning a visit this is worth your time!
