I met with my first client yesterday at the place the event is happening. She was really nice, but when I started taking test shots I realized…. There is absolutely not good enough lighting in here. I asked the mother about the lighting on the day of the event and she said she didn’t know if there would even be any more light in the place!!! On top of that, the girl I’m shooting squeals and turns away if she notices I’m taking her picture, and having to use my flash is not ideal! I’m just taking it one step at a time and trying not to stress too much.

Photography is something that has always intrigued me, but I was always the one on the other side of the lens.

I’ve decided to take step one in actually becoming a professional. I booked an event to shoot on saturday.. I’ll get paid for it and everything, just for doing something I absolutely love [taking pictures and editing them!] It’s been really tough for me to step out of my “bubble” of things I already know, and put myself out there. Hopefully, it turns out amazing!

I’m super excited!! Doing a lot of praying, and any extra sent my way would be appreciated! :)
