I’m starting to get used to my single status, although iv been single for much of my life. You see in the town i live if you don’t look the part you don’t get a look in. So when someone special comes into my life i feel like this shouldn’t be happening to someone like me.
I meet two guys last year, one was really really special to me because i fancied him since i was 19, so when he showed a interest in me my world changed. But in the time he and I was chilling together he decided i wasn’t good enough and meet someone else who is ten time prettier than i could every be, she looks a lot like j-lo. Like i said in my town if you don’t look the part you don’t get a look in.
It was really hard saying goodbye to him coz i really loved him but i’m coming to terms with being on my own again as its nothing new. I’m doing all the things i wouldn’t of been able to do if i was in a BIG time relationship, i don’t have to worry about someone else’s feelings or what their thinking.
Being single isn’t a bad thing it’s the best damn journey i could ever take. Coz now i know what my heart needs and what it doesn’t.
