Be someone's maid of honor

I guess I am getting to that age where my friends are going to start getting married. Granted none of my friends who are close enough to have me as their maid of honor even have boyfriends, but I know the day will come. I am sure once I do start getting the position I will be really angry and muse over always being the bridesmaid and never the bride, but for the time being I think it sounds nice.
