‘Tis the season to declare…
I LOVE EGGNOG!

Although I have never needed braces, ALL of my upper-row baby teeth were silver-capped when I was about 4 years old, since they came in rotten. :p
According to my parents, I was conceived during a road trip – more specifically, during a Circle Tour of Lake Superior.
No wonder I have always had an affinity for the Great Lake…and driving. ; )

My favorite Christmas gift received during childhood was a set of Lincoln Logs. I got to open them a few days before Christmas in 1980 (I was 4 1/2 years old), and was fascinated for months… ...
I designed my wedding ring; it reminds me of a tiny spiral galaxy, with 6 marquis & 6 rounds flanking the center stone.
You loved to hate me.
My very first job was as a telemarketer for Fingerhut – a job I took at age 17, and kept for approximately two weeks.
The problem was that I really enjoyed talking with people – not selling miscellaneous crap. I recall having two very long conversations – one with a woman in Texas (spoke at length about Latino guys until she purchased a set of pots and pans), and one with a fellow that was planning to travel back to his homeland of Ecuador.
In my marriage, I take care of almost all housekeeping tasks, run errands, and coordinate weekend activities & vacation planning…
...(gasps)...I’m a housewife!
I’m cool with that (wink)
My biochemistry is violently adverse to Japanese Encephalitis vaccine.
When I received the second in a series of three shots of JE vaccine, back in 1996, I became paralyzingly ill at work – literally. It felt as though my viscera had been collectively captured in the jaws of life. Before my mother arrived to pick me up (thankfully she lived quite closeby), I spent half an hour doubled over in pain…and spent the rest of the day trying to straighten out!
...wicked, wicked stuff…
I love the smell of pipe smoke. Not cigarette smoke, not cigar smoke, not bong smoke (!), just tobacco pipe smoke.
One of the smells that I strongly associate with early childhood is that of tobacco pipe smoke…one of my Grandfathers always seemed to have one going…
I have as many subscribers as I have subscriptions on 43 Things! I sometimes wonder how many are reciprocal…
