Shortly after going to the gym I developed a horrible cold virus, so I’ve not been back again!
This is a good example of how events seem to conspire against my exercising regularly. Sod it. Maybe go again next week, which is much quieter as regards other things.
Went to the gym today for a couple of hours. It’s the first time in months, and I really quite enjoyed it!
I’m going to try to go once a week initially, even though I probably can’t go the same day every week. That’s obviously not enough in itself, but it’s a damn sight better than nothing….
It’s the “regularly” bit that I have difficulty with. A few months ago I was going to a gym, but even then I didn’t go regularly. My working hours are not regular, so it is impossible for me to say, for example, “I’ll go to the gym every Monday and Thursday”.
I’ll need to think of a way round this.
