One thing I’ve learned from being a faithful Apple customer for 7 years is to WAIT FOR THE 2ND GENERATION!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel sorry for everyone who stood in line for days for the iPhone, now they are suffering the curse of 1st Gen products. American people, apparently you just haven’t understood this concept yet, eventually…the price will go down, the bugs will be worked out, and internet will be faster. Just wait…But oh no, you gotta have it NOW NOW NOW… Sad really, whatever happened to our sense of delayed gratification? And why are they marketing it to kids who no damn well they cannot afford a $600 phone + 60/month service charge and the possible $175 service cancellation fee if they happen to not be AT&T customers? If you cannot afford the thing, STOP FRONTIN! It’s just a phone. I recommend this article from NPR for anyone who is considering buying an iPhone:

The iPhone is a breakthrough in technology and worth scrimping and saving for, but be an informed consumer before you rush into such a huge purchase and I reiterate: WAIT FOR THE 2ND GENERATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
