breastfeed for 1 yr

Only 2 days to go and I will have completed 6 months exclusive breastfeeding and 12 months in total breastfeeding! I cannot believe I managed it after all the worry and seeing so many people unable to do it. I am very proud of being able to breastfeed twins for a year!

So far the breastfeeding has been very straight forward. I breastfed exclusively for 6 months and am so pleased I achieved that with twins. The boys are now finally sleeping through the night from 7pm to 6am (thanks to some sleep training). And am back to work in 4 weeks so yesterday I cut out the 3pm feed and changed it to formula. But I intend to do the 7am and 7pm feeds still by breastfeeding. Fingers crossed!
