don't let random people's opinions about me get to me

seems like whatever i do random people have an opinion about it. if i am too friendly, i’m an attention whore, if i act cold, i’m a bitch who thinks she is superior to those around her. i make a real effort to treat those around me with kindness (be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a battle, plato) and respect but it seems whatever i do, someone i don’t even know that well will have a comment about it especially girls! i wish i wouldn’t let random editorials get to me so much. someone will say something and i’ll feel crushed, almost suffocatingly so. therefore, i’m resolving to take criticism better. i will listen to the criticism, decide whether there is a change i can make and, most importantly, whether there is a change i am willing to make while taking into consideration the source. if there isn’t really anything to be done, i’ll just let it go!
