get rid of unnecessary possessions

I got rid of an unfinished coloring poster and my kids old report cards. Hopefully these acts will make it easier to throw MORE stuff away that is unneeded.

I have gathered books and some dishes that I no longer need. I just need to get them to the library and the 2nd hand store.

I put a lot of unneccessary things into storage. From there is should be much easier to let those things go permeneantly. For now I am still getting my smaller house organized.

This last weekend I moved from my main house into my guest house. I only brought over the absolute essentials. The rest of the stuff my oldest daughter went through and designated for storage or as trash. My son-in-law and I did dump runs. Then he filled up my truck and his car and we made several trips to the storage unit. We are going to do the same thing this coming weekend. We will most likely finish clearing out the inside of the house this weekend. The following weekend we should be able to totally finish clearing out the garage and the property. It is such a relief to finally see an end in sight to this process.

Sunday: threw away some trash, took 2 trash cans to the street for trash pick-up
Monday: threw away a lot of trash, packed up things I will not need while I am temporarily out of my house.
Tuesday: did some more packing today
Wenesday: packed up most of my CD’s

It is time for me to get busy and start throwing down in my house. After the end of the month my oldest daughter is going to take over and decied what stays and what goes if I do not already have it boxed up for storage.

My son-in-law and daughter are going to be remodeling the house. Everything of value is going into storage. I will be in an apartment while the remodeling is going on in April. If all goes as planned, I will be in an apartment for 1 month, then we will all be moving back into the house.

Most of what I need to get rid of is trash. I really don’t understand why I procrastinate doing this. I always feel great after going on a cleaning spree!
