I have been eating lots of protein, milk, yogurt cheese. I make sure I have some everyday. My nails are now very strong. I don’t need fake nails. The only thing better about fake nails is the uniform shape.

I have been keeping my nails healthy. Yesterday I painted them red. Today I touched up. It feels great to have color on my nail again. I feel prettier with the color in place.
I am keeping my nails looking nice by keeping them short. I have been eating plenty of protein and calcium to keep them healthy. I grew them long for awhile but I could not get them all long at the same time. They look nice short. Perhaps I will try to grow them out evenly again, and then get them painted.
I clipped my nails today. They are almost done growing out the damage that was done by the acrylic nails.
I took some polish off my nails a couple of days ago. My nails are very rough towards the ends where the acrylic nails had been. I think it will take a couple more weeks of growing out before they are totally strong all the way through. Right now they are still very brittle on the ends that are rough.
At a glance they are looking a lot better.
I have started taking calcium tablets 3x’s a day regularly. My nails have been very brittle lately. They were not that way when I used to take calcium regularly before. I will be glad when my nails are healthy again.
I clipped my toe nails today. It seems like there is always something more important to do than to take care of my nails. But today I got out the clippers and clipped my toe nails. It is not much but it is a start.
