get my motorcycle license

Expires next month. I told myself that I wouldnt have to get it renewed again but alas it looks like I am going to have to. I think at least I will take the safety class and have the permit and licensing process all rolled into one. This is a big goal for me this coming year. I’m hoping to have my Allstate running again once I’ve got some extra spending cash to get the seals replaced. SOOO many things put off due to my credit debt. Sooo annoying. bah!

I’ve decided not to take the motorcycle safety course, Firstly because of the cost. I just cant afford it right now. Secondly, I’ve heard that they dont really cover much in terms of safety. My husband had a book here on riding theory and I think I’ll just pick that up and flip through it. I am going to try and head down to the local dmv and drive around thier motorcycle test pattern a few time and just make a apt for a test. I’d just like it done already.

SO they offer a class at the VA where you can choose the hour you start. none of this 7 am crap for 3 weekends in a row. Its also just one week day class room and one weekend Sat and Sunday. Now I just need to be paid. Common clients… i’m waiiiting.

I just need to find a weekend I’m free. Seems like there is some sort of kids party every weekend they offer a class. sigh.

AGAIN… for about the 4th or 5th time. and I almost failed the test.. Ha I got 4 wrong. You’d think by this point I’d just see the test code and fill the thing out by memory. Oh well, I passed thats all that matters. As I was leaving the parking lot I saw some guy practicing the motorcycle drive test in the DMV lot. Looking at It I’m wondering if I should just schedule a drive test. It SO insanely easy…. I’m torn. Should I take the CC Rider to get some practical advice and skills or just plow ahead the cheap route and take my test. Later i can take a real driving school course at a track. hmmm decisions decisions.

there it is… my this will be my 4 permit or so. But this time I actually called around about the training class. I wont have a reason of not having my bike running as to not get my license this year. yeay.

So i’ve taken my permit test about 4 times. Had my permit about 4 times and never scheduled the test. I found my study booklet today and I think I’ll make an apt to do it at the DMV. nothing like scheduling something to get the wheels rolling.

sigh… ok. here i go.
