Plans to go to intensive survival class next month 17 months ago

The topics cover edible and medicinal plants. I am really looking forward to this. I hope the class is good because the guy offers several others that I will probably go to as well.

I've got a buddy 18 months ago

now that wants to take the classes with me. It will be nice and a motivator to get the ball rolling on this. Oddly enough I was thinking about this goal a lot recently and it came up twice in conversations over the last week. I think its a sign I need to get out and conquer this one.

I saw a few books on the subject at the library 2 years ago

But I didnt feel comfortable trying to identify plants based on crude illustations. I wonder if they have any sort of such classes at Desconso Gardens. I have been meaning to go there and visit regardless but it seems like I can achieve two things if they can offer me some education as well. I’ll look into this today. I do just want to be sure that I’m learning about plants that are at least easily found or native to my area. Learning about useful tropical plants wont do me much good.
