... but now I smoke cigarillos instead. Funny thing is I don’t crave cigarettes at all, actually I really don’t like cigarettes at all anymore. Go figure!

Had strong urges yesterday but I kept repeating ’’just for today I won’t smoke’’ until the urge went away… Today went ok. 10 days is nothing, 10 months would be better :)
This is what happens in the situation where a person is diagnosed with lung cancer or emphysema and they still won’t quit smoking. They don’t focus on what they’re going to lose or what they’ll gain (a healthier body, more energy and endurance, more money or how enjoyable life without smoking could be.
They focus on how much they enjoy smoking or how hard it is to quit!
Yes I went on a rebound during the holiday, and I hope this time I’ll beat the next urge one day at a time.
I am kind of surprised.. The cravings are less frequent, shorter and it seems easier than the last time I tryed to stop even though I still have the last pack of Marlboro I bought.. Hmm it sure feels good to feel free of this addiction!
I have been avoiding tempting places and people for now and that helps but must I become a hermit? The real test will come upon me when I go out again and mingle with the ’’Smokers’‘
Ok so here I go again… Day #1
It is almost 1pm and I haven’t had a smoked. I don’t expect the first 3 days to be easy but I do plan on following through with my good intentions.
