The last few weeks have felt much better on this one. I still don’t have any scales with me though, so I don’t really know… but you know when your clothes just feel slightly looser and your body feels a little less, well just a little less than it did a few weeks ago.
Am intending to take the weighing scales back to Edin with me this time, so may be able to monitor progress more easily from now on.
I decided yesterday that my new goal is 13 stone by the summer. Now all I have to do is decide when exactly I mean by ‘the summer’. I can feel an excel spreadsheet coming on to record my progress!

No idea where I am on this one now as since I moved house (last August) I haven’t weighed myself.
I know I lost some weight during August, when the Edinburgh Festival was on and I was working crazy hours.
But I also know that over the winter months I put some weight on. It feels as though a little has come off now, but I doubt I am anywhere near the magical 14 stone again yet.
And it wasn’t even my birthday!
We celebrated R’s birthday this weekend… by going out for 2 meals (one Thai, one Tapas) and ordering in a take away curry as well. The curry and the tapas weren’t even that nice. But my belly was SO round yesterday evening!
Hmmm… not long to reach the magic 14stone!
14 st 2lbs
So, I’ve lost 1lb in a month! And it’s been such a stressful month.
I’ve moved house and am now living with someone who has worse eating habits than I ever have had. It’s going to be hard living here – there is too much food around.
BUT… I am intending on losing the last 2lbs in the next 2 weeks. It can’t be that hard! Surely.
14 is still the magic number!

14 is the new magic number.
I want to weigh 14 stone by the end of the month. Two weeks to go
14 stone 6 pounds.
But that was before I had the most enormous poo in the world, so perhaps I’m a pound lighter now.
I still haven’t lost any. And I really want to get down to 14stone by the end of April.
Stood on the scales this morning and I’m back to 14st 5lb. So now the challenge is if I can get down to 14st and no lbs by the end of the month.
To be honest I’ll be happy if I manage to lose another lb and also do exercises a couple of times a week.
I did my 5 mins of baby exercises again this morning – I really enjoy seeing myself looking healthier and it’s so great to feel fitter every day.
I’m feeling good today.
I ate lots of healthy things at lunch today. I wanted to eat lots because I knew I wouldn’t get a proper meal this evening – working late at an Award event at work.
I ended up feeling so bloated (especially after the fruit booster smoothie drink thing) that I couldn’t think of food again till much much later.
So, my eating habits are improving again… and I’m confident that if I weigh myself at the weekend I’ll be back to 14st 5lb again, or perhaps even 1lb lighter.
got on the scales this morning, and I’ve moved 1lb in the wrong direction. For the first time in months I’ve put a pound on.
to be honest I’m not surprised – I’ve eaten junk for two weeks in a row and have been eating like a pig at lunchtimes. This feels like a wake up call to get my regime back, and start paying more attention to what I’m putting in my mouth.
Oh, and to get back on the exercise bike, and start doing the morning exercises at least twice a week again.
I intend to have lost the pound by this time next week.
