Time

I must make time to do this before things get any worse!!! Argggh

Falling behind

When you are so busy at work you don’t have time to make phone calls or go online.
I managed to pay the water bill off
Tax and mot my car but now I need a new one
I’ve given £100 a week to both my sons over the last 3 weeks because they have had money problems.
I contributed to the party after the christening
This week I have my grandsons 2nd birthday then following that I need to pay for accommodation for my friends wedding blessing
Something is a always getting in the way

Old chestnuts

Yes back to this old chestnut, digging paperwork out and paying stuff off again this week :)

Help from mum

We seem not to be any further forward and have struggled with debts for nearly 2 years now. My husband just buries my head in the sand.
After negotiations broke down with a local authority over non payment of council tax I was faced with bailiff action. Mum came to the rescue and paid my bill off.
Now I am just in debt to my mum

careful

I am much more careful with how I utilize money now. I focus on payments needed when they come in but all those debts that we have just got totally behind with I have managed to negotiate paying £1 per month until we get financially stable again.

I have no luxuries except to travel home and see my children.

working on it

It’s an ongoing process but I have learnt al lot of the last year and have also spoke to some good advisors.

I have sometimes thought about going to desperate measures but have managed to stay level headed…..so.far!

investigating

I have been doing lots of investigating about how to reduce debts and their validity and this has helped me be stronger with debt company demands. Used a website called the Motley Crew and they give very helpful advice too.

Now we have reduced our household outgoings we should be able to manage financially a little better.

making calls

I have dealt with a lot of company’s that have done their best to rip us off or say one thing and then do the other and I am so cross with them.
I hate poor service and these company’s wouldn’t be worth anyones custom but of course your reminded your tied into contracts….and your stuffed!

March

I’m going to clear my debts as much as possible by end of March, any longer than that and it’s going to feel like a milestone round my neck and i will feel really negative about it. So here’s the plan:
Keep an expenditure plan going
Keep up with instalments
Pay off the debts that are less then £100
after this concentrate on those that are high in interest like the Credit cards and get shot of them.
Using my new years resolution list I will focus on paying something off until I’ve done it.

neverending

For the sake of saving a few quid to change a few things Ive just landed myself with another bill of £117 and an additional charge of 320 admin for changing my address. Another £47.00 out of pocket.
