learn a language

Not a language I have thought I would enjoy learning but I think I will have to do the basics if I want to visit my sister in France. She lives in a rural location, will defintiley need to learn some before I visit even to get by travelling there.

I know how to count to 10 and say goodbye, thank you and very good from my school days unfortunatley I didn’t excell at the subject…obviously!

There are a few languages that I would love to learn

Spanish – I’d like to speak fluent and write in Spanish
Russian – I have experimented with this it’s hard but I’d like to do the basics.
Africaans- One of the hardest languages you could learn I just want to have a little understanding because I love South Africa and plan to return for holidays on a regular basis.
Italian – the most romantic language, i’d like to know enough to speak on holidays.
