I took dance classes throughout my younger years, when I moved to New Mexico I was too scared/nervous/embarassed to start at a new dance studio so I stopped. This was when I was 10 years old.
I took one semester of ballet during college and enjoyed it but hated the teacher (she always called me another girl’s name and then I ended with what I think was supposed to be her grade which was lower than what she actually got).
Now, I’d really like to get back into it. However, I’m in Japan now and can’t find any ballet studios…
I have taken some hip hop and salsa classes since I’ve been here but I’ve never really stuck with it.
I like ballet and want to do it. Maybe come August when I’m back in the states.
