start my own company

Our company will become a legal entity within the next week or so, our first product is so close to being ready we can taste it and we’re both icredibly excited/nervous about how it will be received. People will be using it in a few short weeks!

It’s been hard work, especially with a pregnant wife, incredibly bright and inquisitive 2 year old and little quiet space. But it’s been worth it.

We’ve finally begun the long hard road to building a business. We’ve built up, then torn-down, then rethought, simplified and streamlined the core idea to something we think is great, sorted out a plan of attack and finally begun actually building something. It’s the most exciting thing (well, apart from seeing my daughter born) I’ve ever participated in.

I have an idea. I have a business partner. We have the skills. And now I don’t have a job any more.

I think the time is right. Do it now or never do it at all, etc, etc.
