make more friends

When I met Susie several months ago at our Community Group at church, I could tell that she was a lady of character! A model of a good Christian woman! At our last get-together for the Summer, she told me to give her a call and let’s plan to go out for lunch. That sounded great to me…but, I was nervous, and I didn’t get ahold of her until last week to schedule a lunch date for this week. We went out to lunch today, and it was wonderful! She is a good listener, shares wonderful stories, and accepts you for who you are! I can tell that we will become very good friends!

I regret that I didnt get ahold of her earlier in the Summer, but, at least I finally did! It’s such a lesson on missed opportunities if you don’t take action!

this week, and I am so excited about the friends that I met! I am proud of myself for participating, and putting myself out there to meet new people! My world is expanding, and that is a good thing!
