Start collecting things for my awesome dorm room next year

So far, I’ve completed a bunch of pillows, curtains, and made a bunch of paintbrush rolls to keep my massive paintbrush collection organized in.
Now I am thinking about making a holder that can strap onto my bed that I can also keep stuff in.
This year I have an advantage because I sort of know what my room is going to be like. Last year I knew I was in old main but I didn’t have any idea what the room was going to be like because the sizes in of the rooms in Old Main varied ALOT. Raquel’s room was the most normal sized room. My room was really narrow and a bit longer than Raquels’.
Mary’s room was the smallest room, and it had three windows instead of one. It was impossible for them to leave their beds unbunked so they had to be bunked at all times. She also had extra furniture because closets didn’t exist in her room.
Next semester all of the rooms will roughly be the same size. I don’t think my roommate and I will bunk the beds but when she leaves for France in the second semester I think I’ll bunk the beds to give me more floor space and drawing room.
I am kind of worried about my roommate next semester because we never really talked before. I also heard that she was a big partier. I mean I sort of knew her through Mary, so I suppose it’s better than being stuck with a total stranger. But it still doesn’t keep me from being a little nervous. I’m just worried that she’s going to be like Bridget from down the hall at Old Main. Who was noisy and super loud when she’s drunk. Oh not to mention DISGUSTING. But I think that might be worst case scenario.

I’m not really collecting things as much as I’m recycling/decorating old things in my room to make my room brighter and more me friendly.
I put new fabric on my swivel chair that I’m taking to school with me. I hate the chairs they keep at school. Ugh.

I’m making matching curtains too :)
