A coworker of the couple who initially gave me the bike as a gift took it off my hands tonight. I gave it to the coworker’s wife for $1 and they loaded it into their van. Now I can use my whole parking spot again, and I won’t feel bad that it’s just sitting there rusting. They’ll fix it up and it’ll be the wife’s bike. Everyone wins.

It was a great gift, a Honda Rebel 450. The idea was to allow me to travel in the city without having to spend so much time finding parking, which I hate doing with a passion. I got a license and everything. But I don’t work in the city. I commute by car; have for 9+ years. Hence, it sits there and rusts. Poor motorcycle. It was working fine till the battery died. Should go to someone who needs it more and who is willing to maintain it. I’m sure with a little work it could be running again. The only thing it’s been doing is sitting.
