Apparently, I can cross this off now.

...no progress here. I haven’t taken the time to sit down and do this. Maybe I should re-think my previous idea of listening on the way to work (in the metro). I don’t have to repeat the phrases. A good start would be just to listen.
Well, contrary to my previous entry, I don’t think I’ll be listening to my swedish ‘tapes’ on the way to work. I just can’t see myself repeating this stuff in a packed metro car.
So, I guess it’ll be at home.
I’m going to load the ‘learn swedish’ mp3 files in my mp3 player and listen to them tomorrow on the way to work.
Well, two seconds after my first entry for this ‘to do’, I found some Learn Swedish audio files and am currently downloading them. If you’re interested let me know.
I grew up in a part of the States with a strong Scandinavian heritage. Being away from it, though, has made me realise how much all of that means to me. Even though I’m not Swedish (by nationality, only by heritage), I do have Swedish influences and because these were a part of my childhood and growing up, they are very sentimental and a real part of me.
