Ended up donating the shirts, I wore them for a couple days and then they found their way to the back of my closet again. Out they go.

I read a lot of blogs about various different things, but one happened to be a makeup blog with a series called one more try before good bye. The idea being giving items you’ve neglect another shot at redeeming themselves before getting rid of them.
Instead of applying this to makeup (which I’ve been steadily using up for the past two months) I decided to go through my wardrobe. I came up with four long-sleeved shirts I just don’t wear for whatever reason.
I’m going to wear them around for the next couple of months or so and make a final decision as to whether or not they are an item I will wear normally. If this works out well I may have found a new way to declutter my wardrobe!
After realizing that all 5 of my current workout bottoms all have issues with them I decided it was time to replace them. The elastic was stretched out on four of them, leaving them hanging on my hips and threatening to fall off completely. The other pair had developed a couple of holes.
I purchased two new pairs of jogging bottoms (I only really wore two of my previous ones) and chuck the rest into the recycling bag. Now I have clothes that fit and more wardrobe space. Win win!

My husband is notorious for buying certain things and then forgetting he has them. Case in point: Vitamins and Sports Drink powder.
Recently we’ve started working out again, so I decided to take some vitamins daily, and have an after-workout drink. I don’t know if it’s a combination of the two, but I certainly feel better.
What started out as a tiny hole, has gotten large enough for me to stick my finger through. Since the hole is in my favorite pair of jeans (near the back pockets, yikes!) I’ve decided that these jeans are now for home use only. Which leaves me with two pairs of work jeans.
The black shoes I have been wearing for work (since the ones I used to wear I wore out) are now starting to wear out.
I’m glad that I’ll be going home to my parents for part of this summer. I need to do some “shopping” and replenish my socks, shoes and jeans. .
I seem to be destroying my clothes lately, or maybe they are just that old and worn out. I developed a hole in a pair of socks, tore a hole in a pair of trousers while moving house, wore hole through the back pocket of a pair of jeans, and found out my shoes were coming apart yesterday.
I have plenty of clothes, I just really didn’t expect this many holes to show up in only a month!
I have relatives coming to visit in about a week and they are bringing me some clothes as birthday presents! Now I like getting new clothes but with the small house my husband and I live in our bedroom is already overflowing with my clothes.
I generally keep a charity bag in the bedroom so I can toss clothes in when I need to. This morning I re-organized our shelves and donated a bunch of stuff that was sitting around plus some clothes don’t fit me properly or are getting that worn out look.
So I’ve got a full bag for charity and space for some new clothes now. :D
