Well it’s been about 3 days. I don’t really have a craving this morning. So that’s a bonus. If someone gave me a cup I might just drink it though.. lol

Well I drank another cup of coffee two days ago. At least I’m down to one cup every two days which would make today… Coffee day! It’s already perked and everything. Will I drink it? Who knows? Once every two days is an improvement. After today maybe i’ll try for every three days consistently.
I’m stuck at home with my crazy parents.. They’re not really crazy, but they’re stressed and freaking out about christmas. We’re all going a little crazy with everything that needs to get done. A cup of coffee would be nice today.. But NO! :P
Well, today was a tough day to go through without coffee because there was sooo much to do and little sing time to do it all before christmas. And on top of that, I didn’t sleep very much last night at all.. The good news is that I didn’t give in to my urges! Go will power! And even though I was under medicated(caffeine-wise) I still got quite a bit done. Time to party!
Ok, well I had a cup of coffee today, I made it about 5-6 days. At least it was only one cup! Tomorrow’s a new day.
So it’s the end of my 4th day, My energy level is pretty much back to normal now. Because I hadn’t drank coffee for very long during exams I didn’t get any withdrawal headaches, so that’s a bonus. The first two days I really dragged my butt. Man, I love coffee.. Maybe I’ll try Inka, it’s a coffee substitute that isn’t decaffeinated because it’s made from rye, barley, beets, and chicory root, which actually doesn’t sound too appetizing but I’ll give it a shot anyways. My mom says it’s good. I really just miss that delicious cup of warm coffee. It’s pretty much a steaming cup of love. lol
This is lame, I actually added this one while drinking a cup of coffee! I’ll finish this cup then work on it. I’ve quit coffee before. Maybe 5,6 times. It’s difficult for a number of reasons, it’s delicious, it can help you wake up when you need it, and because most people don’t think it’s a problem, so getting any kind of support is hard. “Oh, you only drink a cup or two a day, some people drink a whole pot”. Well maybe so, but the caffeine messes me up. It distorts my sleep patterns, makes me jittery, and makes me super groggy the next morning until I get my cup. All of these are taken care of once I stop drinking coffee. I started again 3 weeks ago in preparation for finals… now that they’re over, I’ll be able to deal with the withdrawals a little easier.
The time to quit coffee is now! Who’s with me? lol
