learn to skateboard

I finally took the dive into skateboarding… and it didn’t end so well. You can read all about it here: http://www.spilth.org/?p=1392

from learning to “skateboard” is the fact that I’m 32 (soon to be 33) and I’d be embarrassed to take lessons and have the 9 year old students laughing at me when I fall on my ass.

Still, I should really seek out taking lessons (maybe even privately) to at least give it a try. I told myself I would do it last summer but I never did.

And all I really want to be able to do are some rail slides and the like. I don’t care about vert or crazy flip tricks. Just a nose or board slide would be an accomplishment.
