But where?

I sort of need to decide where. I think it would help with the whole visualization. It needs to be wet enough to allow me to store water and not snow. Foothills somewhere. Also, not so terrible with the climate extremes. I’m thinking 50 years out. That sort of makes islands unacceptable unless they are really tall, like Big Island, except Hurricaines.

Maybe California foothills.

As a refuge

Would like to have some land with water and enough space to grow. Maybe a small cabin for living off the grid. Watched this show yesterday about a man that lived in a cabin like that in Alaska.
