1. A little kid that gently urged me to slow down and play. I have practiced blowing gigantic bubbles in one of the exhibits so I’m pretty successful with it. The bubbles are about 30” in diameter mostly. He is 2yrs old and just huge so people think he’s older. He is still a toddler but the folks that care for him have done such a great job that he shares and is really kind as well as goofy. He’s my favorite.
2. A sweet little girl with her doll named”Walter” after the dog in the book “Walter the Farting Dog”.
3. A moment of inner strength and integrity that helped me be honest instead of being a doormat.
4. My daughters help with my sore knee.
5. My grandsons and their good hearts. Granddaughter too.

1. Having this goal because even when things are sketchy I can manage to find something positive in life trying to just list these 5.
2. Email accidents. Had an email oops from a former employer that opened the door for an apology I wanted to make.
3. Not having to deal with a tsunami evacuation or a tsunami today. We got to have a bit of a system test.
4. I’m borrowing my neighbors car and thought the battery was near death and that I would have to replace it. I was able to jump start it by myself today and it held the charge while I ran all errands. Whew.
5. All the cheers here. I’m in a slump and they are really helping me.

1. Got to go to 3 soccar games today. 8, 6, 4 year olds and the glorious transition that a few year brings on the childs attention span, physicL ability and understanding of why they are even there and which side their goal is located at. Took 2 good photos.
2. Weather on the Windward side that made sitting outside great. Some clouds and trade winds all day which led to the fast soaking rainburst during the last game. So fun to watch the kids get soaked and families huddle under cover of tarps, tents and mats
3. Nap
4. Off tomorrow too.
5. Comedy on TV

3. Glad that the nightmares about my job are getting more realistic because I have to believe that my subconscious issorting things through.
4. The sound of a lttle red haired baby laughing today. It was trapped in a baby carrier and when the parents let it out they forgot to give it toys. I saw this and interceeded and muttered “this baby needs a chicken” and handedit a stuffed chicken. Aparrently the chicken was the funniest thing this little guy had ever seen because it burst into hysterical baby glee laughter which made everyone else laugh too. Very healthy.
5.Greek yogurt. It’s really yummy.

1. Finding old classmates on the internet and then pointing them out to other old classmates. Too funny.
2. Hairless guinea pigs in all their glorious hideousness and the children that see them for the genetically modified wonders of nature that they are.
3. Kittens playing “kill my tail” and boxing with each other. Kittens playing is just one of the most wonderful things ever. My daughter said that at the Reno Humane Society there are rooms of cats waiting to be adopted. One room has a TV with a video of birds. Kittens were trying to capture the video birds. We wondered whether cats can actually see TV pictures of birds or whether they just see movement and hear bird noise. Kinda makes you wonder what in the heck they are actually seeing anyway.
4. Along those lines of “what are they actually seeing” – I love it when babies are laughing at something that they appear to be watching that we can’t see. Has to be passed ancestors playing with em. Watched a baby do that last night and the laughing was just so great.
5. Children grabbing my hand to play with them. Gotta love that. They recognize me as an adult that plays. Good stuff.

1. Good walnut brownies and milk
2. Happy music at starbucks. Stopped in for my Sunday mocha and Jack Johnson was singing about how good it is to share. A guy on the patio was sharing his crumbs with a bunch of little birds. Then another guy did it too.
3. Laying on my back and looking at the ceiling of the jeepney exhibit while a little girl pretended to drive me to my gramas house.
4. Getting a group of unrelated children to play together including a grama.
5. Grandaughters hug as she fell asleep on my lap tonight.

1. Feeling happy in the face of stress inducing life situations. Life has taught me to be happy in spite of the daily circumstances and I am today.
2. Wearing the shirt this evening front the solstice celebration that missed the laundry. It smells like the bonfire. That reminded me of the positive things I’m creating in my life.
3. A really good Toddler class today. I finally felt relaxed and the veggie painting of cows went well. Read “Click Clack Moo: Cows that type” and I’m imagining little voices saying “click
clack moo” from backseat carseats as they traveled home. Had a 20 month old request that I reread a book from a couple of weeks ago during circle time. It was “Old McDonald had a Farm”
4. Nightly rain showers.
5. Peaceful times.
