volunteer regularly

Now that my kids are starting school, I think I’ll end up doing a lot there, with the PTA and also just helping out at school. I am really looking forward to being a part of this community.

I’ve done some volunteer work before but not as much as I like to in the past few years, too involved in my own life, my creative work, my family obligations. The activist organization a friend was founding seems to be floundering, so I’d like to get past web-based work and go out into my community. I’d really love to do volunteer work with all my whole family, have a regular commitment to a certain location or nonprofit, not just seasonal bursts of goodwill like we do now!
