back home for thanksgiving!

was in geneva for a long weekend for business. do business trips count?

this past weekend, we drove up to the new england wild flower society in framingham so i could indulge in my brooklyn garden native plant obsession. they had really great specimens, although not all the ones i was hoping for (oh, allium cernuum, how could you have been already sold out?!) we also drove back the same day. so let’s recount… that was 8+ hours of driving for about 1.5 hours of garden shopping. hmmm….

the former is hard. i don’t count the metro area as leaving my city either.
