Find an excuse to wear a beautiful dress!!!!

...to try to arrange a dinner party- where I can wear some uber gorgeous dress and raise money for my charity at the same time… to celebrate Xmas!!!!

I bought another dress today. Hmmmmm.

It’s vintage- as in been in my wardrobe for a few years but… I wore it to my boyfriend’s 21st on Monday. I felt beautiful in it and considering the look on his face- I guess he thought I did too. Bless him.

I saw one the other day. Orange… I didn’t buy it though in an effort to concerve money… in the current economic climate you never know when you might need it!!!!

BUT I can imagine it on… AND I get to get a new dress shortly as I’m going to be a bridesmaid at my cousins wedding. Eekers! :) Exciting or what!

Oh and my 21st’s coming up. THAT IS an excuse to wear a dress!!!!

Next week I will go buy a dress because I can…!!!!! :)

I came home to find my sister wearing one of my dresses… she’s only 14 and she wanted something nice and grown up to wear to a party sooo she’d raided my wardrobe. It’s sooo nice to have these dresses that she can borrow at will :).

I would love an excuse to wear one again soon… sooo I best get thinking!!!!

Wore one on holiday… black and white, half star print, spaghetti strap.

And another black number that was sooo short I’m surprised I had the guts to do it. I even had a marilyn monroe moment when a gust of wind blew it up but it made me laugh.

I love dresses. I will wear more.

I’m wearing a monochrome number BOWLING. Yes I have lost my marbles… but it’s FUN!!!!! And that’s what life should be :)

On the day my ex left I wore a beautiful monochrome number out to the pub. It’s a corset-style, 2 sizes smaller than I was a year ago and I teamed it with heels and a pair of jackie-o shades (just in case I ended up crying lol). I felt so much better knowing that I was out and I looked good. Eyes were on me and it made me feel a little bit less worthless than I did at tea-time. I might have had the most gorgeous man I’ve met walk out on me- but I deserve more than him. He’s pretty but between us we didn’t make each other happy and he’s now scared of me anyway so I laugh.

My old school friends engagement party. I’m going to take my two week-year-old-single arse to this party and I’m going to look fabulous. Though I’ll get bored and leave early on my own. I’ll phone and have my ex taken off of the invite tomorrow- or maybe take a girlfriend or my ‘soon-to-be-ex-husband’?? Who can tell.

I need a new dress for tomorrow night… I’ve been told to go “overkill”. I have nothing to wear. Something very dressy… and yet my little black and white long length dress isn’t going to cut it. Nu-uh… I think that’s slightly too over the top.

I bought a new one today. It’s knee length cream “oriental” style satin with flared shoulders. I am not sure whether it looks good on or not but either way I’m wearing it. Ha.

I’ve just got to select shoes to wear tonight. I’ve got a choice between my Uggs for a bit of a casual chic thing or these knee high boots in black PVC-Leather to vamp it up slightly. I’m not sure. I’ll have to have a bit of a try on in front of my mirror and scowl at myself a whole lot before I decide I look awful and I fancy a night in front of the TV. (I’m still going though as I always tend to!)
