My new job really requires it… so I’m in bed by 11 every night. Asleep before midnight. Often earlier.

I’ve crawled in at 3am most days this week. I’m shattered and thinking that I’m doing really poorly at this.
Last night I got in at 2ish and got to bed at 2:30am. Spent the evening in the pub trying to avoid people that I didn’t want to see. It’s hard when we live in such a small area. Anywho- I’m not doing very well with this goal but when I get back to uni I guess things will have to improve. :)
If I manage another week over the summer holiday I’ll call this done… then I’ll have to get into a schedule when I get back to uni, but that’s months away yet! :)
Well yesterday was an all time sleep deprivation day… I stayed over at a relatives house and we sat up talking til between and 2 and 3 o clock in the morning and then I had to get up at 6 o clock for class… However my helpful little 3 year old cousin decided to wake up periodically finally getting up for good at 5am… I slept in til like 6:30 in the end but was shortly up playing games with a toy fire truck and letting him poke my braces. His fascination with my braces is sooooo cute that even though I was sooo tired that I went home on my lunch break for half an hours nap and fell asleep on the bus… I cannot be mad at him or myself or anyone. I just know I need to get to bed earlier because it’s not good for my health or my studies or anyone who has to come near this zombie like exterior.
Round of applause for myself Lol… I strolled in at 5:30 am this morning and went straight to bed lol. I don’t think really that’s a very good thing but it’s early right lol the next day anyway…
After another night of going to sleep at day break… I can safely say that I am no closer to achieving this goal. HAHA but… I’m working on it!
2:32am… and last night I sat up drinking with my cousin til 4am- which is completely out of character because I despise alcohol…
I’ve also been to two parties in as many days before this not getting to bed til late both nights. This is not happening… I cant seem to master the whole going to bed and sleep thing.
My brain is becoming increasingly slow from not sleeping and what I dont get is why I cant seem to do this because yeah I am overthinking a lot of stuff lately because my head’s in a jumble but that doesn’t prevent me going to bed. Although I do sorta wanna stay up so I can sort it all out in my head before I go to sleep. Ohhhh I don’t know!
00:26- still here… GO ME! hahaha…
Well if i leave at 00:30 i can be in bed by 01:00… which is earlier than usual- so maybe I’m getting somewhere LOL
Ok, just proved to myself that I need more sleep. I tried to screw a bottle top onto a cup of squash. “rolls eyes”- also cant remember things I did 5 seconds ago. In fact the lack of sleep is making me feel sick… So i guess I should leave now and go to bed.
Just feel I have soooo much going on at the moment… not that I have a right to feel like that because there are people who have far, far more on their plate- which in a way makes me feel worse about the fact that I can whinge about not getting enough sleep when its partly my fault in the first place.
Hmmm think I’m going to shut up and do something about it by actually getting to bed before midnight!
