Had a week off work last week and didn’t use the bike. Managed to drag myself out of bed for a short session this morning though.

Managed to get out of bed early and do 7k this morning – took about 16 minutes. I really need to get this up to 30 minutes for it to do any good.
I’ve managed to shed quite a few pounds over the last few months just by eating differently – more fruit and veg etc. Usual kinda thing. Now I seem to be stuck. I used to go to the gym a few years ago but it’s too expensive and too inconvenient now. I would have to go after work and I don’t want to spend 3 or 4 evenings a week driving to a gym etc. Takes up too much time. So – the exercise bike has been retrieved from the loft. I’m going to use it at least 3 mornings a week before work. Today I only did 16 mins – 6kms but it’s a start.
