Take my favorite blog entries and make a book

Seeing that my blog hit 1500 entries this week(!), it’s about time to pick out my favs and make a little book.

Going through 1500 entries on screen is a bit much for me (paper is much nicer to read). Thanks to my organized hanging files, I have a collection of my blog posts printed out pre-2005. I’ll just update the printout list (I print ‘em 4/4 on both sides of the paper).

I talked with a security guard from the Tribune Tower for a few hours on friday night, encouraging him to write a book on his life. I would like to share some of my blog posts with him, since he doesn’t have access to the internet at home or at work. So it would be kinda cool to grab, like, the top 30 posts from my blog and put them into a little booklet or something.

Before I’ve thought about compiling all my blog posts from one year into a book. That would be something like 100-200 pages. A bit much. A smaller highlighted collection would probably work better.
