I saw Mikhail Gorbachev in the Hard Rock restaurant in Chicago while I was a junior in high school. I yelled out, “Estonia Rules to him” and he waved at me.

Ok. So I don’t think that really counts as a connection, besides a measely #4 connection at that. So I press onward finding new connections to Bacon.

I work at a media company that syndicates 200 columnists, 30 comic strips, a bunch of puzzles and tv/movie listings. So there’s gotta be someone here who has a connection to the bacon.

I’d love to send out an email to my entire floor, but seeing in the past month I already emailed everyone about the woodpecker outside our window, the 10,000 flamingoes, and the Chicago Olympics; I should probably keep my 14th-floor-all emails to a limit.

This calls for some OLD SCHOOL DETECTIVE WORK. I’ll just ask person by person in person about if they know the person of kevin bacon.
