I guess you can say I have a regular sleep schedule now. I usually fall asleep around 1am and wake up a little after 10am. It’s nice to have my body know it’s time to sleep now or time to wake up. Plus I’m more refreshed.

After a lot of thought, and no committed action, I decided to change my goal from “become a morning person” to “have a regular sleep schedule”. Shawna commented to me that becoming a morning person while knowing I’m naturally a night owl may not work. And since I don’t have to wake up early on a daily basis I really don’t see the point of doing this goal. I mean I used to wake up really early for school but I’ve graduated and have a much more flexible schedule. I’m just a night owl. I know I could adapt if I absolutely had to but I don’t need to. Besides I’m not a friendly person in the morning. I think just as long as I get around my magic number of 9 hours of sleep per night I’ll be happy no matter what time I go to bed.
I want to go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time. At the latest 1am and wake up around 10.
I’ve always been a night owl and the idea of becoming a morning person is far down on my to-do list. We’ll see. I really think having a ritual of sorts before I go to bed would really be helpful. Like drinking warm milk or tea before I sleep, listening to soft music, or taking a warm shower. But I like to live randomly and the idea of a routine doesn’t seem all that inticing. Meh.
